We had an absolute blast at the First Annual Renegade Craft Fair San Francisco. The fair took place this weekend at Fort Mason’s Pavilion. As anyone who attended can tell you, it was super busy, so busy that we didn’t realize that we were right near the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz until early evening on Saturday (the jet lag might have had something to do with that too). We had great booth neighbors, positioned between CraftStylish and VenusZine. Amy of VenusZine so kindly supplied
So here’s the deal: we want you to take an existing garment from your closet and turn it into something new! Sounds simple enough, but we’re looking for a little bit more than putting new buttons on a jacket. We want you to really dig in and repurpose those old pieces into new functional, wearable garments while still utilizing as much of the original as possible. Don’t forget, ironing gives a more professional look when creating garments so be sure to flatten those seams and smooth out those wrinkles. We all know that Rowenta irons and garment steamers are the tools of choice among many of the fashion industry’s leading creators, so get to work for your chance to win your own!

I need a little more, um, shall we say, “filling out” along the bustline, so I know I need a structured element there. I’m pretty tall and thin, so I can afford to have some drama going on in the back of the dress – a keyhole, maybe, or even a fall.
summer when it gets warm and whole nature comes alive I usually wanna make so many things and I’m happy that I can wear them freely. Still my inspiration comes whenever it wants, and sometimes it’s quite silly that I can get for example huge bikini-inspiration in November.

8. Bra and Panty SloperSimilar to the sloper shown above but in a different size category. This set of slopers is essential if you want to make your own undergarments, and they are meant to be sewn in a knit stretchy fabric just like the ones that you purchase in stores. The bra sloper has shaped bust pieces and have a marking on the pattern if you want to sew in an optional underwire. The panties have a full coverage shape that sit about 2" below natural waist. Since these are slopers they are template for you to experiment and design/draft/sew your own personal and unique panties!
