It’s also now my go-to username for the many online sewing communities that I’ve found this past year. Since there are so many Amy’s out there, I have half a mind to start commenting on blog posts as ahearta as well, but for now I’m still just Amy out there and ahearta here.

There were darts in this pattern, so I first sewed those together. For darts in knit fabrics I never used a tracing wheel and paper for marking them, I always snip along the edge at the dart legs and then mark the dart tip. I then remove the pattern and draw in my dart line with a fabric marking pen. The pen that I use disappears with heat from my iron!
