I love bows so much.I joined on June 15, 2010. I was searching for some kind of sewing community when uninspired and came across BurdaStyle in the process. I adore this site. I love that you can share your projects and look at what other people are doing. It’s a very cool process. And it’s really nice to get feedback on all of your hard work. I also love that you can check out techniques and fun projects that the site has to offer. I probably visit the site oh…maybe at least 7087098709487042 times a day? It rivals with how many times I check my Facebook. And that’s quite a lot.
I’ve been a member since 2008 and my username is the same as my blog handle and online shop, The Fabled Needle. I love the community aspect of BurdaStyle and sharing is such a rewarding experience. There are many talented people on there so it also serves as a great source of inspiration! I love reading the featured articles (via the homepage) and am always looking forward to updates. I’m a regular visitor to the site, I probably stop by every day!
What is the most frustrating and rewarding things about sewing for you?The most rewarding is that moment when you step into something you’ve slaved over, zip it up, and look in the mirror, and smile because it was totally worth every time you stabbed yourself with a pin.

Belts are a simple thing to make, as well as headbands. If your DIY doesn’t work the way you want it to just throw on some fancy shoes.
