I designed Elyse’s dress off of the BurdaStyle Jenny Dress Pattern which was the perfect template for what Elyse wanted: A low V in the front, an empire waist, and soft cap sleeves. The fabric is one of my all time favorites: luxurious pearly-white hammered silk, the skirt cut on the bias for the va-va-voom effect, and it’s lined in white silk de Chine. For this dramatic transformation, the following changes were done to the pattern:
I feel such more in balance since I started to sew and the time in one day is never enough.The result is my favorite thing of all it. In the last session you be shown how easy it is to customize your slopers and make your own designs to execute, and by the 6th session you’ll be a pro!

I love the how-tos, I really appreciate people taking time to share their knowledge. Creations are always a great source of inspiration. I would also like to see ‘worst-of creation’pages too, where you can post messed up creations and say “look what a horror I made, whatever you do don’t do the same” or “look at my hideous creation, what went wrong?” Lets face it, we all make mistakes, some of my favourite creations were born that way!
