I was at a fabric store last week and saw this striped knit fabric, and thought it would be nice for my top instead of all black (which I originally planned). So I bought 1 1/2 yds of it and just went with it! I always love a last minute fabric change. I kept the black mesh for the yokes, and instead of doing a black hood I knew I had some leftover light grey jersey that would work for it and also bring in more grey to the garment and compliment the striped fabric.
Keep in mind, these are not the only items that will be posted, there will be many projects and variations in between these patterns. And as a plus, whether you realize it or not, the in betweens help you grow as a sewer.
