After the neckline was stitched into place I flipped the lining so the bottom edges meet and then I basted around all the edges so that the center front piece would act as one layer of fabric. Just makes it easier to sew! I then placed the two front side pieces with their corresponding lining piece and basted along those edges, just about 1/4" from the edge.
