I’ve been reading this book for over a week now and have enjoyed learning some new techniques – some of my favorites? Stitchless Embroidery – I love how the author made simple bits of fabric and string look so elegant on a shirt…. plus it’s easy to boot! Puffed Tufts – I’ve seen this technique on bridal\evening gowns and have always wondered how this look was achieved (now I can give it a try for myself). So I am just wondering if we almost created a club of members who love the process of selecting fabric, modifying the pattern, and really making a paper pattern come to life and be an expression of the wearer’s personality. We could all do it together, and see how people around the world interpret and make a pattern their own. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section, I would really appreciate it!
