Step 9- Side seams, upper sleeve seams, bands:Lay fronts on back, right sides facing. Pin side seam edges together, inserting pins at right angles to seam lines. Carefully stitch side seams across pins. Lay sleeve fronts on sleeve backs, right side ?facing. Pin ?upper sleeve seams (seam number 2). Stitch seams. Press seams open. Pin sleeve bands over upper sleeve seams, wrong ?sides ?facing right sides, with bands centred over seams. Baste sleeve bands in place, 0.5 cm (3/16") from edges. Edgestitch sleeve bands to sleeves.
