younger she tried to teach me to sew but I would always get impatient and she would end up finishing the task for me. About 5 years ago I joined a sewing class and started learning to sew properly. The first thing I made was a knee length straight skirt with darts. I still go to sewing class every Wednesday with 6 other ladies, we have a brilliant sewing teacher. We often do more talking and drinking tea than sewing but everyone looks forward to our ‘girl time’ on Wednesday nights!
