There are bikes to ride, places to explore, pictures to be taken. Winter is perfect for sewing and being creative in general. Besides, it’s so lovely outside, why not draw from that?
I was SO PLEASED last week once I finished sewing this skirt that I didn’t have any fitting alterations to do. I really do find with BurdaStyle skirt patterns i’m truly a size 38, just when it comes to tops and dresses I always seem to need alterations on those types of patterns around the shoulder and back. So once I realized the skirt fit perfectly the first time I could get to the fun stuff (embroidering, styling, and wearing around the house).

The first thing I made was clothes for my cat when I was eight years old.
